Preparation for your session
I'd like to ask you to prepare your skin 10 days before your tattoo session. In my experience, working on prepared, well-moisturised skin is easier, and I see the difference in the final result. That's why this preparation is an important part of our work together.
Exfoliate once, gently
10 days before, once – not daily. A mild body scrub is enough for the skin to absorb the care better.
Bepanthen, twice a day
For 10 days, morning and evening before bed, applied thinly. Last application the evening before the session.

10 days before – exfoliate once, gently
Use a mild body scrub in the shower. Treat the whole area of the future tattoo with a margin of a few centimetres around it. Don't rub hard, and don't scrub irritated, damaged or sunburnt skin.
- 02
Right after: moisturise twice a day, for 10 days
Apply a normal Bepanthen ointment from the pharmacy in a thin layer, morning and evening before bed. First application right after the shower with the scrub: pat the skin dry with a towel and apply the ointment thinly. Then keep it up every morning and every evening before sleep. Last application the evening before the session – no ointment on the day itself.

Protect the skin until the session
No sun, no solarium, no peels and no hair removal in this area. You don't need to shave yourself – if necessary, I'll prepare the skin before we start. On the day of the session, come with clean skin and no ointment on it.
Thank you for taking the time to prepare. This simple routine helps us start the session with skin in good condition – and creates good conditions for clean, precise work.
Water is part of it. Hydration does not only come from outside. In the ten days before your appointment, drink more water than usual – skin holds moisture better, and you go into the session more rested. Not medical advice, just a simple reminder that many people underestimate.
What is Bepanthen? A standard healing ointment with dexpanthenol, available in any pharmacy without a prescription. If you are allergic to dexpanthenol, tell me beforehand – we will find an alternative.
What to bring to the appointment
Comfortable clothes. You will spend a full day with me – wear something you can move in freely and that can get ink on it. A tank top for the arm, shorts for the leg.
A light shirt for the photo. At the end of the session I photograph your work – for me that is part of the result, and those images later show what we achieved. Light colours, ideally white, read strongest on camera. So please bring a white or light top. It is a small request, but it makes a real difference to me.
Something to drink and a snack. The session runs long, so remember to drink and eat during the breaks – that way you feel good throughout the whole session. Bring some water and a little something with you.
